How Can migraine Headache Along With Vomiting Be Treated?

Hi, I m new to migraines since I had my son 2 years ago. I ve only had 5 or 6, but man they are awful. Must be in dark, no smell or sound. They last about 10-12 hours with severe headache and vomiting. They are always around my period. My two questions are 1) would treatment benefit me since I am having so few? 2) When I vomit so hard for so long I end up with grainy, sandy, dark brown vomit that tastes very bitter. Is this normal emesis? Or should I have it checked out? I am otherwise healthy. I m 33, take no medications, only supplements. Have high cholesterol (genetic mostly) am 5 10 weigh 195lbs so a bit over weight. Thanks, Meg
